Hi Jayden, I have a long-term question. Do you believe Curio Cards will still hold strong cultural and financial value by 2030 and later, or are they more of a hype that’s best to sell during the next bull run? I’m considering a set-and-forget approach with some cheaper pieces, but I won’t be around to trade actively until 2030. (prison time due to local anti-weed smoking laws...) Would love your honest thoughts.

Hey RB, they’re very much a buy and hold. I think each cycle it’s highly likely they’ll keep increasing over time because they’re one of the earliest art projects on the blockchain. I don’t recommend trading them.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it. You’ve helped confirm my decision — I’ll pick up a few pieces with my small savings and hopefully they’ll help me get started again when I’m back.

By the way, I find it really interesting that it looks like 1–2 accounts are basically trading most of the cheaper pieces, constantly sweeping and relisting. Makes the market feel quite controlled

That’s a bot. While I don’t recommend trading these the active trading accounts are healthy for the eco system of the project. Don’t overthink that part too much.
